Dear Supporter,
We, the rowers at the Bergen County Rowing Academy, are all still in shock by the sudden passing of our teammate, Jahnan Rahimpour. What better way to honor and remember him than to dedicate a boat in his name. His spirit would be with us for many more years to come! And Jahnan, who loved the water so much, would in spirit continue to glide over the water rowed by his teammates. Thus, we are reaching out for your help to raise the funds for a boat.

Thank you all for your amazing participation in raising the funds for a brand new Vespoli VHP29 Double/Pair. We took delivery of the boat on April 6, 2025, and dedicated it on May 18, 2025:

Fundraising
Our 7th Annual Marathon Row will take place on Sunday, August 3, 2025 (Rain Date: August 31, 2025). Participants are looking to be sponsored by their friends and family for their effort to benefit each rowers club. We anticipate to have participants not only from the Bergen County Rowing Academy but also from Nereid Boat Club and the Passaic River Rowing Association.
